Why isn't my shopping cart saved?

Our shopping carts are automatically set to be saved for only 10 days.  So if you access a bookmarked shopping cart after 10 days it will be unavailable, or you may get an error.

How long does it take to get my order?

From the time the order is processed with the warehouse until it ships - usually takes 2-3 business days.  Time in-transit with UPS or FedEx normally ranges from 2 - 5 business days, depending on your location.  There are no Saturday deliveries unless expressly requested (there is an additional charge).

I have a catalog but what I want isn't on the website

We are constantly adding new products to our website.  If you want to order something from the catalog that isn't currently on the website please e-mail or call us at 888-278-7417 between 10am Monday - 5pm Friday EST for pricing.

What are your shipping charges?

Because we feel that you shouldn't pay more for shipping than the actual cost, we charge real-time UPS shipping rates.  Please visit: shipping info for more details.

Why does it take longer for orders in August and September?

This is the hectic back-to-school season and as you can imagine there are a LOT of orders being shipped out.  Please bear with us during this time of year as the warehouse is working harder to fulfill orders. Occasionally there can be shipping delays beyond the traditional August-September months.

What data do you collect from visitors?

The only data that we collect from visitors are their shopping habits: what items did you look at, how long did you stay on the website, what browser you use, etc. We do not save any credit card information - this is all processed using an SSL (secure socket layer) with our credit card processors. All transactions are securely handled by either Authorize.net or PayPal.  For any privacy questions, please visit our Privacy Policy.

I tried to order but it wouldn't complete!

If you are accessing the internet from behind a firewall or a proxy server, you may not be able to complete an order.  If this happens to you, contact the library, school IT department, or whomever is in charge of proxy or firewall settings and see what can be done.  Security measures are put in place by IT professionals in order to protect their servers from hackers from accessing sensitive information and are not intended to prohibit you from shopping online (unless that is a specific company policy).  With all the hackers and phishing problems that run rampant on the internet, you really can't blame IT pros for being cautious.

What do the little red asterisks mean?

Red asterisks next to the price of an item indicates that this single item does not meet the minimum order requirement of $20.  Our shopping cart will not allow you to proceed with your order if the total amount of items ordered is less than $20.  For more information please visit our Terms Of Service.
